I'm no apologist for the ultra-wealthy. But the harm in blaming the climate crisis on the Bezoses of the world (or saying we can't "solve" it without bringing them to heel) just gives the other few billion human carbon emitters an excuse to cop out.

There is no solving, or fixing, or ending the climate crisis. There is only mitigation and adaptation. And everyone has their part to play -- including that 90% of humans you mention, all still (for the most part) burning fossil fuels and chewing through resources like there's no tomorrow.
