According to both Snopes and Quote Investigtor, this quote attributed to Einstein is unproven. In an article decrying the lack of veracity or proven research in climate change articles, you may want to reconsider it.

I generally agree with you. Sensationalism has been a problem since early newspapers learned they could sell more copies by doomsaying. And I am a huge critic of how modern "infotainment" shapes public discourse and creates much reality distortion.

I also think there remains some disincentive for much of media to report on climate change, since it's still, as Chris Hayes summed it up, "a ratings killer." So people talking about it a good thing, even if they mess up a data point here or there.

Finally, I gave up reading Umair a long time ago. His house is always on fire.
