Hi Mick, thanks for reading and commenting. According to research, every .1 degree we rise above current avg global temp, 140 million people are exposed to hazardous heat conditions. There's no problem with these kinds of arguments. There's a problem with mental models that say "unless it's a 100% fix of everything, it's a non-starter." In the meantime, every single thing we're experiencing is an aggregate of individual decisions.

In a matter of years, maybe months, I predict AI will be able to calculate one's exact impact per carbon transgression. If your AI app tells you that getting on this plane to Chicago will increase global avg temp by .0000001 degree, and thus kill two people in South Sudan, do you take the flight?
