We’re all aware that Trump supporters don’t like being “talked down to.” More cynically put: everything is horribly “woke” and overly “PC,” unless it’s about them — and then everybody has to walk on eggshells. How dare you say ‘deplorable!’ Trump supporters come in all flavors, I’m friends with many wonderful people who support him, that was just one description of one faction in a quasi-creative writing exercise. So, tuck it back in, bub. The point of the article is something else entirely.
