I’m not holding my breath, but if we act fast, we may stave off a catastrophic 3-4 degrees warming by 2100. But even two degrees has hellish implications.

The best we can do is personally limit our consumption in a gestural way, and prepare for very hard times. We have a lot of adaptation ahead of us, a lot of pain and suffering, too. Good luck.
