In your fight to cleanse us of climate misinformation, I fear you've committed the same sin. (Not to get too dramatic about it).
Oxfam reports that, in 2019, the top 1% were responsible for 16% of global carbon emissions, which is as much as the 66% poorest of humanity, or 5 billion people.
It's not 1% = 60%.
It's top 1% (of income earners) = 16% (of carbon emissions)
and
bottom 66% (of income earners) = 16% (of carbon emissions)
By the way, what does that leave? The rest of us, the "middle" 33% of humanity responsible for about two thirds, or 68% of global carbon emissions.
