Yes, we need to act. You'll get no argument from me there. The question addressed in this article is is *how* we need to act. The author points out that some people think green policies and tech are economically unfeasible. I'm pointing out two things with my comment: The "they" described by the author (skeptics, deniers) have far more than economic grievances about climate action -- they think it's a plan to take over the world. So there's that, but then there's the deeper issue of whether capitalism can truly solve the problem, or if it's too much a *part* of the problem. The de-growth versus renewables debate somewhat frames this up.

Seeing both of these aspects absent from the writing, I made my comment.
