I'm not far from you, in the Adirondacks. I've been reading about the Great Lakes area in particular as a possible climate oasis, but yeah, you're exactly right, what about that lake effect? What about that wall of snow I saw in a video coming across a stretch of snowy highway toward Buffalo like something out of a Stephen King novel? There might be no place that's "safe," or at least untouched by climate change.
