Unfortunately, it's not just red / blue divided over vaccine efficacy. Mainstream media critics on both the right and left, like Matt Taibbi, sow distrust simply because efficacy is reported. In addition to people distrusting it because theyre phobic of needles / substances in the body, or because of their cultural / tribal / political affiliation, people distrust the vaccine for sheer virtue of being something supported by the New York Times.
