Respectfully, Gene, Trump had four years and both the House and Senate and yet didn't become the dictator you're sure he's now going to be. And he wasn't able to overturn the election. His narcissism is dangerous, but I believe in this country, and the wisdom of its founders, who made it--if not impervious--highly autocrat resistant.

In the meantime, we're setting records for hottest year, year after year. Climate-related chaos has been erupting all over the world. And the worst is yet to come. Of course I care about the issues here at home that could affect my own daughters, but I'm also concerned for the billions of our planet's most vulnerable populations, suffering the exponentially disastrous calamities of a climate crisis driven by our industrialized consumption.

And by ours, I mean yours and mine.
