Thanks for reading and commenting Stephen, and for making that point. It's a bit of an old canard in the sense it's not controlled for income versus expense, e.g. millennials, who make less, are shown to give more time and money than boomers as a function of their income, who make more. It's also not controlled for community organizations -- church is a monolith community organization, while a variety of secular charities give abundantly but aren't counted all together. And a church itself is counted as a "charity."
Love that line -- a shallow scratch to find the same shit.
