To my understanding, the statement made by Klaus Schwab was predictive, not prescriptive. The internet nevertheless went into paroxysms of totalitarian fears.
As is written here by Reuters, there is no evidence the WEF wants to abolish private ownership. But rather its expected to happen due to intensive wealth consolidation, reward hacking, ecological overshoot and other runaway factors.
