Thanks Randy. It can totally make you question yourself, especially when it's family doing the denying (we have that "implicit bias" etc.)

I never say I am 100% sure. And models definitely predict a range of possibilities. But I will never be persuaded that somehow it's a conspiracy or exaggerated. There are far too many scientists involved, and consortiums, and the science tends to be skeptical, and for years the media shied away from reporting on climate change as it was considered a "ratings killer."

As for the "we need jobs" argument... all I can say is I feel almost certain there will come a time soon when the jobs people are doing will be all about adaptation and survival, one way or the other...
