That's a good point about how redistributing the ownership of a corporation wouldn't necessarily change its behavior (i.e. emissions).
And another good point that attacking billionaires feeds the right-wing-conspiracy machine.
There IS still the "emissions from billionaires' lifestyles" aspect to contend with. There are studies that predate the Oxfam study that specifically look at the lifestyle coefficient. And it's not good.
In a world where every fraction of a degree of warming could mean millions of lives, over-consumption matters. As Greta Thunberg said, "The bigger your carbon footprint, the bigger your moral duty."
