My favorite use of the word might just be from an episode of "The Big Bang Theory" in which Leonard's mother Beverly observes that Raj and Howard have a pathological fear of women. She says to them that this "might explain why the two of you have formed an ersatz homosexual marriage in order to satisfy your need for intimacy." XD
